Self-Drilling Screws are also known as Tek® Screws. Tek® Screws are self-drilling sheet metal screws or teks with a drill point tip at the end which eliminates the need for pre-drilled holes. Self-drilling screws are commonly used in metal-to-metal applications and because self-drilling Tek® type screws do not require pre-drilled holes it can speed up the installation process. Self-drilling screws are used by many industries such as metal roofing, HVAC, electricians, and solar panels. Self-drilling Tek® screws are available in several head styles such hex head, flat head countersunk, oval head, pan head, and Phillips wafer head. Self-drilling Tek® screws are available with head drive and Phillips drive in both zinc plated ZP and stainless-steel SS.
